Repair work at Grantham Guitar Shop ranges from simple setups to complex high end repair work.  Some examples are:

1. Complete Setup (basic rate $50) - adjust neck, clean fingerboard, check all hardware and electronics, cut nut to proper height, balance out action and set intonation
2. Custom Bone Nut - 6 string ($50)
3. Custom Bone Saddle ($50)
4. Compensated saddle - 6 string ($60)
5. Reglue bridge ($125)
6. Fret dress, crown and polish ($125)
7. Complete refret (unbound fingerboard) ($200)
8. Complete refret (bound fingerboard) ($250)
9. Repair of broken headstocks ($45/hour)
10. The construction of bridges ($45/hour)
11. Repair cracks and missing wood ($45/hour)
12. Installation of guitar electronics ($45/hour)
13. Repairing and applying new finishes ($45/hour)

Refinishing and new finish work is a specialty.  30 years experience applying finishes in the auto body business provides a natural crossover into instrument finishes.
