JimmyD's Guitar Loft

 

My name is Jim DelVecchio.  I own JimmyD’s Guitar Loft.  I have been playing guitar for over 50 years, mostly electrics.  Ten years ago I purchased my first acoustic, won’t mention the name brand, but for $1500.00.   I was very confused.  After doing a lot of research and asking many questions as to why the guitar was not what it should be, I decided to invest into a few cheap guitars.  I wanted to take some apart to see how they were built.

I’ve learned quite a lot.  I sell factory made guitars that I hand pick.  I also build my own.  For acoustic guitars, I have the sides bent for me and then I take over. My first attempt at building a guitar was a nightmare but I have come a long way and now build some pretty good guitars.

I also repair acoustic and electric guitars.  I’ve had some bad guitars come to my shop; so-called guitar repairmen should leave things alone.
